Ascendigo offers fun, rewarding and challenging sports and enrichment programs that provide the opportunities and supports for children and adults on the autism spectrum to progress in active sports and life experiences. Our staff is experienced and trained in working with individuals across the spectrum and at any level of athletic ability. We know that people with autism can succeed at recreational sports – they just need the chance and the appropriate instructional approach.

We are committed to making the Ascendigo experience affordable to as many families as possible. Financial aid may be applied to camp tuition only. Aid is available for summer and winter programs. It may cover campers on the spectrum as well as enrolling typical siblings, if any. The maximum aid is 50% of tuition. The amount given is based on financial need. The total financial aid which Ascendigo has available each year is limited and not all requests can be honored. No person shall be excluded because of race, religion, national origin or sexual preference. Registration of the camper is necessary before the financial aid application can be considered. A deposit of 25% of the total tuition is required at the time of registration. If you feel you may have difficulty paying the full 25% deposit at one time, contact our office manager to arrange a payment plan. If enrollment is contingent upon receiving financial aid and we are unable to provide it, we will refund your deposit. The application deadline for the summer sessions is April 1th. We will let families know of the aid given by May 1st. The application deadline for the winter sessions is October 1st. We will let families know of the aid given by November 1st. Applications may continue to be processed after the deadline, but we cannot ensure a timely response and the availability of funds may be exhausted. Information on the application form is confidential, digitally encrypted and will be used to assess financial aid needs only. Questions can be directed to Maureen Muller, Business Manager, at 970.927.3143 or firstname.lastname@example.org. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Bill Rieger Scholarship Fund at Ascendigo was created in loving memory of Bil Rieger, whose generosity and dedication helped many children with autism in the Roaring Fork Valley. If the request is received less than 60 days prior, but more than 30 days before the start date, 80% of my full tuition will be refunded;

Change in Session Dates:
The session date requested on the Registration Form may be transferred to a different session date only if an opening is available. A $100 change fee is required and the request must be made in writing 14 days in advance of the enrolled session start date.
Transfers to another session, requested with less than 14 days notice due to serious medical illness with a doctor’s note, will be attempted; but cannot be guaranteed.
No refunds will be given for early withdrawals unless there is a serious medical illness with doctor’s written letter. If Ascendigo is able to fill the remainder of the session(s), a prorated refund will be made. A $100 change fee applies.
Ascendigo recognizes that behavioral challenges are common in people with an ASD and will do everything possible to ensure a positive experience for all campers. However, I understand that Ascendigo reserves the right to dismiss any camper due to serious, unsafe behavior. If Ascendigo is able to fill the remainder of the session(s) you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the proportion of the session days used. A $100 change fee applies.
Cancellations and Refunds:
In the case of unusual circumstances, appeals can be made to the Admissions Committee by written letter concerning the cancellation/refund policy.
