Live entertainment by U2 tribute band, Joshua Tree. Vegas Rocks! Magazine calls Joshua Tree “one of the top 10 tribute bands.” Joshua Tree is known to play each song with the same intensity and emotion of U2. The band covers all phases of U2’s career from their first album, Boy, to the most recent, Songs of Innocence. The Joshua Tree has developed a national reputation as having captured a piece of the U2 magic.
Captain Sandra Yawn is Ascendigo Blue Aspen’s celebrity guest. Yawn is a world-renowned captain in the yachting industry with over 28 years of experience. Yawn’s love for the ocean propelled her to achieve the highest status as a mega yacht captain in a male-dominated industry. In 2006, Yawn was the recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Crew Award for the International Super Yacht Society in recognition of her ensuring the safety of the guests, crew, and even the vessel during a catastrophic fire off the coast of Yemen. She has survived a life-threatening motorcycle accident, pirate invasion, and even cancer. Yawn is an active board member or advisor for many philanthropic groups including the Jacksonville School for Autism, a nonprofit organization that Yawn’s sister founded for the captain’s nephew.
