The weekend of festivities will kick off Friday with a VIP cocktail reception featuring New York Times best-selling authors Caren Zucker & John Donvan. Zucker & Donvan will speak about their 2017 Pulitzer Prize finalist book “In a Different Key: The Story of Autism” at the intimate gathering in Aspen. The reception includes cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, and music.

Vertical Blue Autism Awareness Day
9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Ascendigo will host the popular Vertical Blue Autism Awareness Day at Aspen Highlands featuring interactive booths in the base village and an aprés ski party at Highlands Alehouse with DJ entertainment and drawings for amazing prizes including Icelandic skis!

Ascendigo Blue Aspen (previously called Light It Up Blue Aspen) turns up the volume at the Belly Up Aspen for a lively night with special guests, VIP gift bags, cocktails, chef-curated dinner stations, and a concert with Vintage Trouble. Last but certainly not least, guests will be able to bid on one-of-a-kind live auction experiences and a special prize drawing featuring fabulous luxury items.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy specialty cocktails and beverages compliments of Woody Creek Distillers, Anheuser Busch, and sumptuous passed hors d’ oevres at a reception with special guests Caren Zucker & John Donvan.
Program + Live Auction with professional auctioneer Christian Kolberg. Kolberg participates in 5 star non-profit auction events including Richard Branson’s Necker Cup.
