Custom Care Adventures
Ascendigo now offers programming that is unique and tailored to your participant’s special interests and talents. Custom Care Adventures programming has a wide range of possibilities, and no dream is too big! Whether it be spending one day on the lake learning to wake surf, a weekend at the ranch therapeutic horseback riding, or a week-long ski trip, we’ve got you covered.
Programming is created and hosted by highly skilled, adaptive instructors with collaboration from you and your participant. To inquire about possible Custom Care Adventures, please reach out to Kayla Holthouse at kholthouse@ascendigo.org with questions or a sample schedule.

- Customized Duration: 1 day – up to 5 days
- Rate: Varies dependent on custom care activities selected.

Seasonal Adventures
Ranch Camp (Spring)
After school horseback riding camp. Super fun experience for beginner or never-ever riders ages 6-11. Located in Missouri Heights. Dates are to be determined but will be starting the first week in May 2025. The camp will be offered in four week sessions where you can choose to come, Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays each week for the month of May.
Camps will be an hour and a half to two hours long depending on the day.

Private/Semi-Private Horseback Riding Lessons (Spring & Fall)
Private and semi-private horseback riding lessons will be available from May 1 through October 31. We offer horseback riding lessons for all ages and all abilities. We provide a great introduction to horses and horseback riding but also have horses available for all levels of riders. Private and semi private lessons are one hour long where riders get to participate in grooming and tacking their horse as well as riding.

Lake Camp (Late Summer)
Lake Camp (Saturdays & Sundays in August & September) for ages 7+ offers a FULL DAY on the speed boat at local reservoirs wake surfing, knee boarding and tubing taught by adaptive instructors.
Saturday Adventures Club (Fall)
Ascendigo’s Saturday Adventures Club (SAC) presented by FirstBank is an 8-week program in the fall offered to local Roaring Fork Valley families/ participants. This one-of-a-kind program is dedicated to providing rewarding experiences to local youth on the autism spectrum or with other cognitive differences.
Saturday Adventures include lake sports, kayaking, horseback riding, climbing, local festivals, hiking and more!
