Outreach
Ascendigo’s Outreach Program provides therapies and services for children with autism and other cognitive differences living in the Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding communities. The goal is for these children to engage fully in family, school, and community life.
Behavioral Therapy
We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a proven approach to increasing positive outcomes for individuals with autism. This is a naturalistic approach that is both behavioral and developmentally appropriate allowing us to focus on the child’s motivations and interests, enabling increased skills critical for social interactions, communication, and independence. In addition, members of our team have been trained in Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
Recreational Therapy
Getting outside, exercising, and acquiring new skills have a profound impact on the mind, body, and spirit. It is also critical to social development. We offer a wide variety of outdoor activities and leading adaptive teaching methods to ensure success for all ability levels.
What Outreach Program Participants Receive
Assessment
Our team will take time to get to know your child and understand your family’s priorities. We will assess your child’s skills and challenges before creating an individualized treatment plan for your child.
One-on-One Therapy
After building a relationship with your child, trained therapists will implement an individualized Made for Me™ program. The Made for Me™ philosophy focuses on person-centered care and one-on-one sessions will focus on your child’s interests and strengths. Progress is closely monitored to ensure your child is making meaningful progress toward their goals.
Additional Services
Consultation and Family Training
If on-going intervention is not feasible for your family, our clinicians are available to consult on individual cases, providing tips to support skill acquisition and decrease non-desired behaviors.
School Consultation
Our team is available to consult with your child’s school team to provide individualized recommendations that fit within your child’s classroom culture.
Family Resources
Ascendigo is very connected to the Roaring Fork Valley community and the autism community at large. We will share any resources, advice, support, or connections we have that may assist your family in accessing the support you need.

Behavioral therapies delivered by qualified professionals are covered by most health insurance plans, including Medicaid.
